Happy birthday to my aunty, my hero, my provider, and my second mother. You have always been there for me whenever I needed you.
I still remember when I got bullied by my childhood friends because one of them got a PS3—and then you bought me a PS3. I never had to worry about clothes, or even dreaming about the taste of the different kinds of chocolates, because you always made sure I had them.
I know I’m not always the best at showing how much I love and appreciate you, Nanay. I’m really sorry for that. But please know that I owe my life to you, and I am so proud of you.
I talk about you to my friends all the time. I tell them about how I have a second mother in Australia who has supported me through everything.
